<pre>that sounds good, i think there are some moves afoot to give subpatches some abstraction like properties. one refinement i'd suggest (to make patching faster) is to have unique or aliased as a default (which could be changed with a preferences file) so that copies can be pasted in without a dialogue box appearing, and then an option to convert from one type to another (if several subpatches could be selected and have their type changed at once this would keep editing fast) - kind of like make ghost copy in cubase >You select a subpatch and copy - a dialog asks whether you want >a unique or aliased copy.
