hello,
im sorry i didnt reply, it did help but its kind of complicated.
Do you have any more info on the 'padsp' command? If this makes Pd work
easily with pulseaudio, it seems that the Pd-extended menu item in the Ubuntu menus could then start pd with that 'padsp pd -oss' command.
i run $ padsp pd -oss
dac~ with input from osc~ works, however when i try to get some input from adc~ and tabwrite~ it into an array, the array is written with 0's when i turn off/on the sound processing i get "/dev/dsp2 (readonly): No such file or directory" in the pd console. when i change the audio to ALSA i get input from adc~ but later i get the old "audio I/O stuck... closing audio" however if i change to OSS after this, the adc~ works as well as dac~
i tried running exaile player configured to use pulseaudio and it doesnt have any influence now ..
i have a compiled version of Pd-0.41.4-extended
please let me know how/if i can help with testing more ..
cheers,
gnd/
