dont the files attached to mails appear in the archive of this mailing list ( http://lists.puredata.info/pipermail/pd-list/ ) ??
how can i convert a patch to text?

it says the attachement is a binary, but in fact it is a pd patch. so you can open it with every texteditor. (or just rename it and open it with pd) you have to click on the link at the bottom of the posting (where it says "a non-text attachement... click on the Url) in the archive and save as. marius.

you don't need to convert anything, since pd-files already are textfiles, but with the extension '.pd'.

on windows there may be an EOL problem, so notepad or something won't display it propertly - all will go in one line ..
i'm not sure if pd patch parser can read both ..? deppends..
did anyone experienced anything about it?
i think it's only windows has different EOL symbol these days. macosx has the regular unix EOL isn't it?
