I'm on 10.7.3 When I build libraries they are 64bit My pd-extended is 32bit I wish to build 32bit externals against 32bit libs
Can I force Fink to build Universal libs? OR just 32bit?
This would be without having a second fink installation.
Someone might know be cause I can not seem to find any documentation on this.
Thanks! m
I haven't found that answer either... Looks like we need to get [gemwin] working on Mac OS X/64-bit. Other than that and tclpd setup, the 64-bit builds are working pretty well.

If nature has made any one thing less susceptible than all others of exclusive property, it is the action of the thinking power called an idea, which an individual may exclusively possess as long as he keeps it to himself; but the moment it is divulged, it forces itself into the possession of everyone, and the receiver cannot dispossess himself of it. - Thomas Jefferson

what's the problem with that, currently?
to all my knowledge, Gem (master aka trunk) already has a "kind-of" working [gemwin] (abstraction, rather than 'external') implementation.
i don't think that backporting that to 0.93 is feasible.

well for me I get:
gemglutwindow ... couldn't create
on 10.7.3 from the pd-extended 64bit build
that seems to be the only issue really with the 64bit builds as far as i can tell....

which version of Gem is that? it could be that the builds are simply using an old version of Gem.

The last stable release of Gem is included in Pd-extended.
