Hello
this is my 1st post from me after lurking for some weeks, so again a friendly "hello": hello.
I've tried this and that but i can't successfully get percolate for pd macos X to run with the "application" style pd0.38Test10 for Macos X. (The File I try to use is from http://www.akustische-kunst.org/puredata/percolate/ and is called "PeRColate0.09-osx.zip (279k) - version 0.09 of PeRColate for pd (binary for Mac OS X)")
I admit I'm not really deep into installing and such. All I'm aware of is the location of the Extras folder... ;) But following the readme of the percolate download does not succeed.
Could one of you be so kind to give me a short step-by-step howto?
Thank you a lot,
Ulrich
i been using percolate with the "app" pd0.38 (not the latest one maybe, but still) for some weeks if percolate.pd_darwin is in the extras folder and you have "-lib percolate" in your .pdrc (in your home dir) that should be enough at least it is in my machine do you get any errors in the pd window? best

To be honest I have no .pdrc in my home dir nor would I have an idea of correct language syntax etc.; I thought with the "App" version, everything should be inside this single package and I was hoping I have to e.g. enter something into that "Startup binaries" list.
cheers u

the .pdrc file contains the startup options, so you can use it to tell pd which external libs to load everytime you launch the app create a text file with "-lib percolate" (and/or any other libs you wanna load). just put that in your home dir, (dont forget the "." in the filename). there are many other options you can put in the file, but that depends on your needs (midi, gui, etc)

wow roc, your answer appeared faster than my question!
And thanks a lot I'll continue my researches in that direction. Finally I also discovered that FAQ at pure-data.iem.at...
