1). I have a hercules dj console which comes up as a joystick under linux(suse 9.3) it all works fine in pd except that there is a tolerance level for the joystick (i think its part of the joystick driver) below which it returns zero which means that i get dead zones when using the jog wheels on the herc dj console. has anyone played around with joystick config in linux who can give me some pointers?
2). Is there a way to have two gemwin from the same instance of pd? i want to have one display fullscreen on my second desktop and another so i can see it along side my patch on the first desktop. (I am using windows for GEM display as i havent been able to get my ATI mobility raedon 9700 working under suse and communicating beetween computer via OSC). I had a look around on the list and i think some people were saying it was in the process of being made. I am using GEM 0.87.

There's a tool for this called jscal. I don't know if it comes with suse. It really should. The manpage tells you how to use it.
