Hello list,
Let me separate this question from my previous post: Does anyone know how to make a non-linear spectral stretch in pd?
I'd like to transpose a sound so its spectrum is not equally transposed.
I played with ssb-modulation which perform spectral shifting, but I couldn't figure out how to move from that to spectral stretching. Any thoughts?
Much appreciated, Zax
To (partly) answer my own question: pvwarp~ in FFTease can do this; it applies different multipliers to different partials.
However, the determination of the actual warp function seems somewhat elusive. Has anyone had any experience with this external? It sounds great, but I can't figure out how to specify the function.
Thanks anyone, Zax
