hey listers,
just wondering if anyone has any nice patches for making dubstep noises, or tips for doing dubstep style production in Pd. in particular i'm interested in making the huge stupid bass wubwubwubwubwubwub noise - i figure it's a square wave passed through a highly resonant lowpass filter, with the wubwub coming from modulating the filter cutoff frequency, but i don't have access to club-style subwoofers so it'd be nice to know some tricks to make it sound genuine. for example, do you put another layer of pure sine under there to flesh it out a bit, or use pairs of square oscillators in detuned octaves, or whatever..
any thoughts appreciated.

This may be a good start: http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=14797 For making antialiased waveforms with jumps take a look at my trapez~ abstraction from the archives.
