Hi Developers !
I wonder if someone had this idea - or maybe it could be an inspiration for programming...
Since PD works with OS X and ProTools as well. All thats missing to connect these two is a MidiTimecode Object in PD and a connection via Jack.
Is it Possible to see the ProTools Ports in Jack ???
Would be a fantastic tools fro Sound Design including VST Plugins ??
What Do you think ?

I would really love to see a miditimecode (both in and out) object in Pd. means you can sync other apps to Pd or slave them, I was (just) a bit unhappy to find myself unable to do this a while back.

looks like someone already did this as a patch: http://iem.kug.ac.at/mailinglists/pd-list/2003-04/003427.html
for the audio try http://www.jackosx.com/ but is it true that pro tools supports neithier AudioUnits or VST? you may want to try a more capable host then...

ahh thanks, yes I remember reading this... think I worked out that its still not possible to SEND midi timecode out of pd, however, tho I may well be mistaken yet again.
