does any one know how the m-audio firewire 4-10 in linux?

firewire 4-10 worked PERFECTLY with PD in windows XP. Excellet product. WARNING : In pd for win32, you must have as many INPUTS as OUTPUTS ( 4in and 4out for example BUT NOT 4 in and 10 out) OR you can have unlimited OUTPUTS but NO INPUTS.

i'm currently looking for a firewire soundcard with mircrophone preamp/s - so that i can connect condenser mikrophones... so far i have two cards in mind: m-audio 4-10 and est quatafire 610 - do any of you know them? if yes
- how do they work with pd + what are your experince with them? are there

At this point no firewire audio interfaces are supported under linux.
