Sounds like a problem with the Linux version...
pTargetSize is used in Particles/part_targetsize.cpp, which means that the particle library wasn't compiled or linked in correctly.

Hi
I cannot get Gem to load. I get this message:
/usr/lib/pd/externs/Gem.pd_linux: /usr/lib/pd/externs/Gem.pd_linux: undefined symbol: pTargetSize /usr/lib/pd/externs/Gem: can't load library
Does anyone have an idea about what could be wrong?
There doesn't seem to go anything wrong during compilation (apart from a slight problem with the (makefile of the ???)orb library which I solved by replacing it with one from an older release).
