Hello,
I had a couple suggestions for the patcher~ creator, Olaf Matthes (if they make sense):
existing number of plugs to the number displayed in the object. Example: "patcher~ 5 3" (shows 5 ins, 3 outs) (- or in terms of processing it doesn't make a difference the number of exits?)
instead of compulsory (after a while, the window is full, and when one already has the connections programmed, it is not necessary to see them again)

Hi,
this is a good reason to update patcher~. The new version (0.3) has some additional creation arguments:
[patcher~ <max. connections> <inlets> <outlets> <verbose>]
Now you can adjust the number of inlets and outlets (max. 16) to your needs (and it really saves computation load). Additional changes: setting / unsetting of connections using 'set' and 'unset' messages The fourth argument turns extra printout on if set to 1 -> it's turned off now by default
get it at http://www.akustische-kunst.org/puredata/patcher/
good night, Olaf
PS. I haven't tried all combinations of inlets/outlets... and it's late here... ;-)
