Dear Yves,
regarding your reorganisation of the four talks, i'd like to propose to feature PiDiP in a 2hrs Workshop in the afternoon.
I hope that's ok for you!
no,that's definitely not ok and to try to change our talk schedule from the start is not ok neither,
we are 3 doing 4 talks, so what?
i really don't like negociating anything like that, but it seems you never tried to install or run PDP/PiDiP
ya!

and i send this on the list to see if some people could show some interest in a lecture about PiDiP or not, or 'just a workshop in the afternoon'.
i'm sorry, that's why i send it here.
and sorry for the noise, but i hate these tractations of any kind, we're 'open source', don't forget.

so, thanks you so long, alexei, and, check out that project made with pd : http://www.t-t-trackers.net/
and, cheers to you too, annina..

and to try to change our talk schedule from the start is not ok neither,
and also, saying 'your friend ( aymeric, doing a lot for pd ) is invited, but he has to pay his ticket' is kinda of of a joke or what ?
do you feel you respect anyone with such an answer??
sorry, you don't...

what is this?

i said i'm sorry for the noise, but i send this to the list for i'm bored of speaking privately with ONE guy that decides what is important or not for the PD convention.
ok, this one maybe is too much. but the answer is so surprising ( note it's the same as ISEA ) why can't you simply say : 'no, sorry, we don't have money left' that would be clearer.

was that me ? i remember talking to aymeric about exactly this theme with almost exactly these words. and i thought it was clear between the 2 of us, that the pd~convention just has no money left to pay him for coming, and that i was sorry for this but cannot do anything about it.
so "why can't you simply say : 'no, sorry, we don't have money left' that would be clearer. " is what i thought i did.

Hello sevy, IOhannes, list,
thanks for puting the light on my very humble person, i didn't ask for such attention. Due to some very sad family troubles i don't have time, nor the will or even mood to write a 2 hours mail. To be brief, sevy asked for me to peter (that i don't know and never heard of) and that's completely INDEPENDANT to the talk off-list we had IOhannes.
that's all. for the rest sevy has explained himself.
Now the Pure Data Trigger Gang Bang schedule remains the same, the Gem demo flyer will be posted tomorrow with the final rules and a selection of the submissions will be shown at graz during the convention.
+! aym3ric.

no,that's definitely not ok and to try to change our talk schedule from the start is not ok neither,
i realize some elements are missing here for real, clear and precise information :
from the very start, the three of us asked for 3 speeches, that would be :
1 - "advanced graphical objects for pd : unauthorized pd" ----> Yves Degoyon 2 - "high level video processing with pd : PiDiP" --> Yves Degoyon, Lluis Gomez y Bigorda 3 - "open-source web interface for pd : pdweb" ex : gollum.artecfacte.org ---> Lluis Gomez y Bigorda, Yves Degoyon
then i thought it would be interesting to add that speech too :
4 - "streaming medias with pd : operating a web radio with pd" : ex: radio riereta.net ----> Ramiro Consentino
then, on the schedule, we finally got for all 1 slot of 30 minutes !!! then i said to the guy, there plenty of slots, on the first day ( monday ), in the afternoon, ....
the answer was no, you can do it on the table in the cafeteria ( something like that ).
ciao, sevy
Slightly off the topic, sorry, but...
Are there going to be any transcripts/records of this conference for those of us on the wrong continent? These speeches Yves is talking about sound amazing, and could surely be an asset for developing the general skills of the community, beyond the lucky bunch that gets to be at the conference (namely, me ;) )? Let me know if there's anything I could do to facillitate that.
Cheers, -Ian

There should be a paper with each talk. Or at least that's what we were asked to do. I am sure that they'll make all the papers available.

Hallo!

Yes, of course! For example I'll make records and a written documentation of the technical lectures in the morning. All the documentation will be published after the convention.
