Hi all
There was some discussion recently on #dataflow about how to transport MIDI over a network. One main concern was that a network connection introduces jitter and thus makes the result 'non-musical'. As a solution to this issue,I made two little abstractions, basically wrappers around [netsend] and [netreceive]. On the sender side messages are time-tagged, so that on the receiving side they can be 'played back' while keeping the timing between messages intact. Of course, this comes with cost of a (settable) delay.
