Hi all, which are your favourite pd abstractions/externals able to work as very long/infinite reverbs, possibly with the option to freeze the reverb when desired?

[rev3~], the best! Gives you inifinite verb and even 4chn output.

definitely !
also, the much loved vst-plugin FREEVERB~ is available as a PD-external for all platforms (type "freeverb~" on the deken searchbar)
this one has a "freeze" function

I did this one with Pd and [freeverb]: https://dynasample.com/demos/XO_CelloDrone.mp3
Just one monophonic voice playing the cello chord first then playing the flute with another reverb. Freeverb is still pretty nice after over 20 years that I have had it . . .
Cheers, Ingo

pvoc reverb in the audio examples lets you freeze the effect rather nicely
