Hi ,
I downloaded the Adam' s pd installer 0.36-E2 the very first time I used pd. I had a problem with my Motu which were showing 8 IO instead of 18. So I downloaded a tree from Miller and the latest portaudiov18 and recompile pd. I managed then to see my 18 I/O. So I was happy.
Today I downloaded pd 0.37t4 from Miller and guess what my Motu shows only 8 I/O. Was pd 0.37 supposed to have used the latest release of portaudio V18 ? What is it that I don' t understand ?

Yes, that's correct. the Obj directory is only needed for building, and should be wiped first if you're going to do that.
I would be very surprised at any incompatibilities with externals.
Cheers, adam

However, you should be able use my installer and then drop the contents of pd-0.37-test4/bin into my installer's /usr/local/pd/bin directory, and see what happens there. I haven't tested it, but it should work.
Just to check if I understand it correctly: I use your installer and then I replace the bin directory by the one propose by the 0.37 version proposed by Miller ? Will that work ? What about the obj ? Nothing has change inside them ? I will try. Thanks Alex
