Has anyone put together a cheat sheet of pd objects? Seems like it would be handy. I see in the back of Miller's book there is an index of those he used for reference.

Try right-clicking on empty canvas and selecting Help from the menu - you should get a list of objects with brief descriptions.
Really?
My PD does NOTHING when I right click on the help on an empty canvas.
I'm on Windoze and I installed from a binary distribution that included
some of the other libraries, but it seems to have quite a few problems...
Like there is no MIDIIN, it gives an error message saying that only works on Linux?!

well, even if that were the case, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. pc final scratch pro only works on linux too, right? ;)
[midiin] is the raw midi interface.
you do have notein/noteout & ctlin/ctlout on windows as well as a host of other midi-related objects that work just fine.

Doesn't have to be an empty canvas, just not on an object, right?
Yeah... I'm aware... I was thinking a little bit more graphically organized. Don't know what, really ... I'm not a technical writer 8-)
