i had completed an extern to control my studiomix mixer. it sends and receives NRPNS for control. it was special purpose and converted only the controls it needed in kind of a poor way. if you are interested in the source code (i used flext, c++) just let me know. i never released it because it was my first extern, and rough code.
btw: the studiomix is going for $250 these days. it's an 8-fader controller with transport controls. motorized faders! but nobody wants one because they used cakewalk proprietary NRPNs for control...
anyway, i'll be interested to see what you come up with.

is there something for pd that might behave like a cmusic gen function
something so you could change the length and the intervals in rt
i guess something similar to an f table generator?
a la gen3~ 1024 0 1 ......
just asking
cheers~

hi Patrick,
not sure I understand, but in case you just want to fill an array with a polynomial, it could be as simple as
'3 0 1 -1 1 0 1' -> [vex_gen <array_name>]
(that is a cubic one)

Well, there's a sort of "gen 10" for wavetables (2.control.exmples/15.array.pd) but nothing more than that that I know of.
