hi all,
i'm curious about the expenses of a send/receive pair compared with a connection between two objects. i suppose a send/receive is a bit more expensive, but i'm not sure if there is some kind of hash-algorithm hidden somewhere... or is it more or less the same about as a direct connection?
cheers...

may i add myself to this post and add 3 more questions related (ok one is a bit off-topic)
eventually throw~/catch~
an osc~, a *~ and a dac~) and the same with the *~ in a subatch (so using 1 inlet, 1 inlet~ and 1 outlet~ )

abstraction copied a lot, some pd native operators or expr ?

abstraction copied a lot, some pd native operators or expr ?
i suppose the fastest would be to use kjetil's k_cext, since it compiles your code to native machine code... but related to audio math, it shouldn't matter a lot...
cheers...
