After seeing the pictures from the convention, I know that Graz is the one place in Europe where I'd feel like my time was well spent. You have no idea how much I long to sit in a room full of people who have even the slightest awareness of what Pure Data is,
I can feel with you. Anyone else using Pd in Cologne besides Luigi and me? That's why being in Graz or Amsterdam is so good.
I also feel your pain. Over here in the US anything except crappy alt/pop/rock is shunned. I can takl to two professors at the university that use MAX/MSP, but otherwise Im all alone and have to solve all my own problems, with the help of the friendly and kind people of this list of course!
I should narrow my locality to Colorado, as there are most likely people using PD in NY and San Fran.
and why it is the most important piece of free software in current audio/visual development!
But this we *do* know. ;)
Ive dumped ALL of my time, energy and money into getting PD working well for this very reason. Viva PD!

Hmm, I don't find NYC to be a hotbed of Pd users, tho there are lots of
Max people, etc. Maybe they are still hiding... I'd like to talk to
them. :)
