Hi there,
I'm a big "openpanel" fan, really... But I as wondering if there was such thing as a "select folder" object. It would come handy in some of my patches when I'm trying to tell pd what folder it has to look into to find audio files. Up to know, I'v done this by using "openpanel" and some symbol/list management functions, but there must be a simpler way... Thanks for your answers.

If you promise not to use Windows, hurt small kittens or oppress any Latin American countries with it, maybe you can use the [playlist] object for that.

if you get a recent version of pd, go to openpanel's help file. it's
possible to tell it now which folder it's supposed to open.
I think someone was working on a better version of the open file dialog as
well. maybe in .43 will come out.

I think there's [tof/folderpanel] which is [openpanel] for selecting
folders.
