Yes I agree. I updated my patches to use bob~ instead of moog~ now. Works well. I finally finished off, ore or less, my [s_minimoog] and a gui editor [g_minimoog]. They can be found in the rc-patches: https://github.com/danomatika/rc-patches/tree/master/rc https://github.com/danomatika/rc-patches/tree/master/rc Note: you’ll also need rjlib.

Finally got around to trying the new bob~ filter. Works really really great.
I got excited about it, too.
And Pd's near future looks so promising, anyway. Deken means easy access to externals, means projects aiming to be portable can be Pd-vanilla based, means all kinds of interesting new features ([bob~], [list *symbol], [text], [array]... good times we live in ;-)
It's time for a big thank you for the driving forces behind Pd community.

"My favorite way to use it is with 2 lfos, one lfo modulating the frequency of the other lfo and the other modulating the filter q. This along with an envelope makes the synth sound as if it's a stratocaster connected to a mashal amp and making wobbly feedback sounds when the filter starts ringing."
In my imagination that sounds like my kinda celestial choir.
Billy, any chance you could put a self-contained patch together to demo your technique - love to hear it.
Cheers,
Julian

Billy, that's beautiful.
Pedal Steel Synthesis,
touch of the Eno Apollo about it.
Great growls circa 5m then goes a bit ELP.
Chords patch things up and see it through to end.
Marvelous, not the sounding synthesis I was expecting,
celestial choirs are go.
