Hi,
Is there a way to send a message to open (or close) a window, such as an abstraction or subpatch?
Cheers,

You may also find of interest the gui.popup abstractions from the pdmtl abstractions set. (Tom just hinted it me ;-)

OK, obsolete then..
I'm not talking about the word. I mean that [namecanvas] is here to stay, it's not obsolete, and Miller is wrong. But we have said that in the past already. (Look for "namecanvas" in the archives)

Ah, the [namecanvas] discussion again! And just after we had the "$0-in-messages"-discussion. How about starting the Reply-To-Munging discussion next? For reasons known to the pd~conv participants we will avoid the "move to svn"-discussion this time. ;)

It's not discussion. I'd like to avoid that discussion and this is why I refer to the archives.

If you want to read about this you can go read it in the archives. Seriously now, I don't think that you are justified in making that kind of comparison. You could've saved the joke for later, if this exchange grows into a real thread. Personally I don't want to redo the [namecanvas] dance again, so I keep things to a minimum.
