Hello!
I am trying to use ladspa plugins in pd, but there seems to be some sort of a dB convention mismatch. I remember something about amplification of a signal before you pass it through ladspa plugin and a gain reduction afterwards.
For now I am mostly interested in gate and dyson_compressor plugins. And it looks like the two plugins don't do much.
Can anybody confirm this behaviour or am I just dreaming. Again.
Thanks and take care,
Miha...
PS plugin~ is 0.2 and swh-plugins are 0.3.3 or 0.2.8.
this is a reasonably useless [OT] "is there a god?" question.
will there ever be a time that pd allows for the saving of session values?
today i heard some of the sweetest noise ever coming out of an abstraction. when it crashed i spent the rest of the day trying to recreate it.. this has happened so many times i've almost got used to the damage ;)

Julian,
Check out the "state" object. Although I'm not completely sure, I
think it has the ability to save the values of graphical objects such as sliders and dials in a preset-array of sorts. Good luck

I've hacked together a few little patches that'll save your
abstraction control settings to a file in the path of your parent patch, and load them back on initialisation of the abstraction. But they do require building the abstraction to suit the settings patches. If you're interested I'll clean them up and send them to you.
