hi all, I have some problem with my webcam and pdp: my usbwebcam is working, at least in camstream I receive the images I want.
But if I use the cam with pdp, the xv-window is splitted into two parts a green and a dark green one, no images are visible. but there are no errors on the printout.

There are some errors just when I try to set frequencies.
what I have to do? I've seen a post about that with philips webcam, but I didn't find the line // goto test; in my pdp_v4l.c I'm using PDP: version 0.12.3
thanks, amalia
hi amalia
i had the same thing when i first used a philips wecam with pd, are you sure you have pwcx module loaded? (i supose you use linux)
you can download the pwcx module here: http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/release.html (it's binary only, so kernel will be tainted)
probably you have to force your module to load into kernel, because it's compiled differently modprobe -f pwcx (if it's in your /lib/modules)
hope that's it.
best m
