Hallo!
I have following cvs problem: Everytime I try to checkout the whole sources I get following error:
U grill/vasp/max/vasp.mean? cvs [update aborted]: cannot rename file .new.vasp.mean to vasp.mean?: Invalid argument
So is there a possibility, that I do not get this error (because then I have to checkout all the following files manually ...:(
Thanks, LG Georg
Hi Georg, because of the obvious problem with the ? in a filename i already renamed it for PD but forgot the Max version. The problem is that it might be needed in some other abstractions and i don't have the time and/or motivation to check that at the moment. Do you need the Max files at all? Because otherwise you could check out the root folder non-recursively and then just the other folders you need.
best greetings, Thomas

No, I don't.

Yes, I'll do so. But (to the cvs experts) is there maybe an option, so that these files are ignored ?
Thanks, LG Georg

Hi Georg, i think vasp.mean? has now vanished from the cvs and should have been replaced by vasp.meanq. This probably breaks things, but i'm not sure if there are any Maxers using vasp.
