hi all is there's a solution to open a canvas when pd start with -nogui flag.
i've tried [vis 1( but it don't works maybe with [tot.] but i don't know the sentence.

because of tcl/tk capabilities (tot possibilities and message to canvas possibilities), i thought it was possible to have like GOP function with canvas.

Hm, why would you want to open a canvas, when there's no GUI to show it, because you switched off the GUI with "-nogui"? I'm a bit puzzled.

I think what he/she means is, is there a way to start up pd's gui after starting pd with -nogui without having to restart pd.

Oh. There sure ought to be a way to do that, but I think there isn't at present. It's on my dolist but no idea when I'll get to it.
