Hi list, I just installed Linux (gutsy 7.10) on my computer, but for me it is totally new and I am totally lost!! I want to install pool from Thomas Grill, that is implemented to work with sssad in my whole patch. I downloaded the source from flext but I don't even know what "compile" means and how to do it.All what I read about it is like chineese for me, so if somebody would have the patience to point me on the right direction explaining it like for a baby (that I am in this program's world), it would be fantastic! Hi again! I went further with the help of a friend..We compiled and installed flext (latest from SVN), so far no errors, everything was ok. Then we compiled and installed pool (latest from SVN) surprisingly without errors! pool.pd_linux is as expected in the pd/extra folder, but when I create the pool object, pd freezes. How can we find out where our mistake is ? The config-lnx-pd-gcc.txt looks correctly configured... Is there a log file somewhere that could help ? Many thanx for your hints. Delphine
