has anyone made an abstraction that takes the output of [fiddle~] and gives a range of possible scales that the notes may occupy?
if not i'll try to build one, but if there's already a good one out there, i'll just use that.
if i do have to build it myself, does anyone have any advice?

[chord] and [pitch] from MaxLib might be good starting points? Check the [MaxLib] help for more music analysis tools if you haven't seen them already.
