Hello,
Thought I should probably share this in a way that is not embedded at the end of another reply. *facepalm*
I just released Hacksilver, a new procedurally generated algorave album.
https://chr15m.bandcamp.com/album/hacksilver
It uses a whole slew of weird tech to generate the beats, melodies, synth sounds including beat-generating LISP, 8-bit synth generating Javascript, and Pure Data for the mixing and mastering. One thing that was particularly fun was procedurally generating Impulse Tracker files.
Would appreciate a re-share if you know of anybody who might be into this type of thing!
Cheers,
Chris.
nice!
i like it.

Loving this, very dope (& super-squelchy:)!
Any chance of sharing yr realtime mixing/mastering setup? Very curious.

I wrote up some details about the technical side here:
https://mccormick.cx/news/entries/hacksilver-technical-details
The tl;dr is: Raspberry Pi running Pd controlled by a Korg Nanokontrol2 and a Commodore 64 keyboard, plus some hardware for playing algorithmically generated Impulse Tracker files.
I collaborated with my friend Dimity on some of the hardware and we are working towards selling some of the stuff we make. People who are interested in buying open music tech can follow along with that project here:
Thanks for your interest!
Cheers,
Chris.
