Try the following using "Pd version 0.37.1 devel" for linux...
1- Create a patch with a _Hslider_ controller entering a name in the
_receive-symbol_ properties box.
2- Save the patch, close and then re-open it.
3- The _receive-symbol_ variable is copied into the controller's _name_
variable.
This is reeking havoc with my patch's interface. It doesn't happen on my Window's build, nor with Vslider or any other controller that I use. Any ideas on how to get around this? Thanks.

It's a (serious) bug in current CVS. I don't know another workaround than upgrading to Miller's new 0.37 test version.

this should be fixed in 0.37-1 test 3...
cheers Miller
