thanks for the answer, i see the problems and possibilities now, and i remember, after reading footils.org, that i used the [State] object. in which external is it included ?
grepping through the cvs externals, I see:
/externals/ggee/gui/state.c /externals/ggee/gui/state.list

I'm not sure about bloodsheds, and I would assume that you can compile state.c on its own, maybe look at the source at the top, on its #define list
Also, there is plenty of Windows makefiles strewn across the externals, so perhaps do a CVS checkout of the whole externals tree?

Hi,
I found a compiled state.dll lying around on my harddisk, its attached. I have stopped developing ggee and state doesn't work for general gui objects anymore since the introduction of the iemguis (Which, in fact was about 5 years ago as far as I can remember), it just works for the numberbox.
YMMV, I still use it a lot, but thats just because I am lazy.

great, muchos gracias mr. geiger ! just put it in the extra folder and it works perfectly, without any additional line in the start.bat.
i'll try memento if the [state] can't help me anymore ...

pd and the external you're running must have been compiled with the same controller. The dll layout they are producing is somewhat different, and there are some other issues as well. you could try to import visual c projects, if there are any.
hope this helps, thoralf.

yes, good info ! the pd project doesnt seem to be that big, maybe the dev-cpp can import it. where to find the vcs login ?
