Hi
I am looking for a person in the Bay Area who knows Pd and GEM well enough to help with some art installations out there. The work is a combination of setting up future installations and also maintaining the work when the need arises. Most of this will be in San Francisco proper, but other locations, including Silicon Valley, are possible too. This is all paid work.
Thanks, Chris
Someone has asked about the time requirements for the work. The best answer I can give is that it varies from an hour or so for simple troubleshooting to a full day to install a piece in a new location (gallery, museum or private collection). The frequency of work is very intermittent but there is a growing amount of artwork in the area which requires specific technical knowlege like Pd. Other good skills to have are a familiarity with Macs, video cameras and plasma/LCD displays.
