hi, can someone reproduce the following error? if i have xgroove~ playing and trying to move it with the mouse, it loses its graphical representation and is converted to a textfile, respectively a comment and i cannot save it anymore. that only happens after i started the xgroove~ with a bang. hmmm, anyone an idea what the problem could be? is there a conflict with another external? (gripd, iemlib1, iem_t3_lib, iemlib2, iemgui, zexy, expr, vasp, prepend2, grid, cooled~, chaos, motex, py, maxlib, sickle, hammer, vst~...). i use pd 0.36 and win2k. marius.
I'd like to add that i'm clueless too. Neither flext nor xsample has a special graphical representation, it's just an ordinary PD object box.
any ideas? T

hi, does not look like an overflow problem. i can start pd only with -lib xsample and still have the same problem. i also tested -nosound, -nomidi. does nobody else have this problem with xgroove~???? maybe the zip-file contains an old verrsion of xgrove? i downloaded the newest version of xsample (0.2.4.zip) but when i send help to xgroove~ it says version 0.2.1. could there be a type error in the code (maybe xgroove or xgroove~ or xgrove~ ???). marius.

Hi all, i encourage everone using xsample (and having problems with it) to upgrade to the cvs version if possible. Quite a few things have been fixed in the meantime. As soon as i get to it (hopefully shortly) there will be a release of version 0.3.0
best greetings, Thomas
