Hi!
if i pause one channel of the two that [pdp_mixer] supports, the other channel pauses also on the pdp render windows after [pdp_mixer] !!!
Any idea?
See the patch I have attached with 3 pdp render windows.

There is no patch attached. But i think that you want to talk about [pdp_mix]. Here a patch for your problem (with [pdp-glx]). ++

My patch was the same as yours, but without [pdp_reg] and [pdp_trigger].
It would have been impossible to discover that for me... I just thought in something simpler
Thanks , bye

Maybe, but don't forget that the hot inlet is on the left. So if you
stop the left [metro] … nothing will occur.
[pdp_reg] works like [float] but store a pdp packet, so you have to
'bang' this object in the left inlet to force to output the last
packet store. Then this packet enter in the left (hot) inlet of
[pdp_mix]. That why we use [pdp_trigger bang pdp], it's like a
[trigger bang anything] with Gem (or PD).
Hope it's enough clear.

no. with a recent pd-extended version you should be able to copy and paste each comment separately by selecting it. but selecting a lot of comments and pasting them into a textfile is not supported. if you want to extract a lot of comments (like for documentation or whatever) you would have to run a script that grabs all comments of a pd patch and pastes them into a new file. this should also be possible in a texteditor using regex. marius.
Has somebody made a python script to extract all the comments from a pd file? that could save time when f.e. converting a pd help file with a lot of seperate comments to a text or pdf file. It can't be much work but maybe someone has made this already...

Thanks. Anyway, when i said "Text Editor" I meant the text editor of any Linux distro, not the Text Editor of pd. I didn't know the Text Editor of pd...

i was aware of that. with "proceed" i mean, that you thencan copy/paste/... the text into your favourite text-editor.

Thanks Jack,
anyway, could someone explain me why the patch doesn't work properly (you know, when you pause one of the two channels, the other channel also stops) without [pdp_reg] and [pdp_trigger] ?
I would like to give reasons to my pupils...
