Go here: http://iem.kug.ac.at/mailinglists/pd-list/ and type "laptop" in the search and check "search all paths".
You get loads, but a couple of good threads are: Re: [PD] It really works!,,and laptops, from round about December 2001, and Re: [PD] PD on a laptop??, round about September 2001. But check out others as well - just to be sure! ; )

Reading in some forum I've pondered the idea that notebook are not good for audio despite the power in terms of memory and processor.
