i just updated the win32 object, and tested throughput from a g3 running max to a win-2k laptop p3 running pd on a 10 Mbps ethernet, with bundling (ten 116-byte mssgs/packet) on, and got 326,000 message bytes / second. that's 59.1 channels of 44.1 KHz audio :) the earlier 1:1 test yielded about 252,000 bytes/sec. ______________________ | b o b f a l e s c h | www.zeggz.com/raf/

a channel of 44.1khz audio is 88100 bytes/sec (16bit * 44100/s). with overhead, you could get 3 channels over OSC with 10Mbit network.
