I just installed the newest version (0.42.5-extended-20090803 - Windows XP) of pd extended to see if the find function has improved since 0.40.3.
However if I try to use it I get this error:
Application Error
Error: invalid command name "x"
Details:
invalid command name "x"
invalid command name "x"
while executing
"x"
(procedure "find_ok" line 1)
invoked from within
"find_ok .find1"
invoked from within
".find1.button invoke"
("uplevel" body line 1)
invoked from within
"uplevel #0 [list $w invoke]"
(procedure "tk::ButtonUp" line 24)
invoked from within
"tk::ButtonUp .find1.button"
(command bound to event)
I guess that's not an improvement ;) Please file a bug report, I'll
dive in soon.

Thank you for fixing this "find" problem on Windows. I just downloaded the latest version from August 16th and it's causing no more problems!

Thanks for the bug report. Please file more bug reports as you find
them, then we can get the 0.42.5 version of Pd-extended released
sooner rather than later.

If nature has made any one thing less susceptible than all others of
exclusive property, it is the action of the thinking power called an
idea, which an individual may exclusively possess as long as he keeps
it to himself; but the moment it is divulged, it forces itself into
the possession of everyone, and the receiver cannot dispossess himself
of it. - Thomas Jefferson
