Hi Yves, this looks like a gcc version mismatch. The gcc compiled objects of the various versions are not binary compatible, so you need to compile flext AND your externals with the same compiler version.
sincerely, Thomas

hi,
what version of flext is needed to use these externs ??
right now, they compile fine but when i try to load them, i've got this error :
polarizer~.pd_linux: undefined symbol: AddXlet__10flext_baseQ310flext_base4xlet4typeiRPQ210flext_base4xlet
what's actually defined in flext.a is :
AddXlet__10flext_baseQ310flext_base4xlet4typeiPCcRPQ210flext_base4xlet
what's wrong here ??
cheers,
sevy/yves

hi people,
i finally managed to put some stuff online, so here come:
polarizer~ transverb~ buffer_override~ polarizer~
originally being vst plugins now converted to pd exxternals --- bugged first versions though
all these mangle crunch and overflow your audio data radically.
--------------- and ------
mad3~ madstream~
integer based mp3 decoder externals for pd and PDa -- mad3 is just for files while madstream - lets say - tries to stream audio.
these are really experimental and a bit hard to compile (warnings and complaints).
since i do not like version numbers - especially those starting with 0 - these all ship as version
have fun! martin
