Hi,
I am using pdp_theonice and I can stream nicely to an Icecast2 server and pick it up in Mplayer on Linux. When I use VLC on OSX and Win however I get the first video frame and then this message:
PTS is out of range, dropping buffer
and the video freezes....any hints on what might be causing this?
adam
actually, i see this is a vlc problem and reported on the vlc list

ola,
if your video freezes, it's that the bandwidth is not so good or so stable, you can try to lower the quality.
but, vlc is known to have problems with unsteady streams, on windows, you can use Real Player 10 instead, and on MAC OSX trying to compile an mplayer.
