I'm wondering how to gate (allow to pass or prevent passage of) messages that consist of lists -- something like Max's gate and switch objects. Gating single floats can be done with the select object, but how do I gate lists? Is there an object that I've missed when scanning the object list in the documentation?
Thanks for any tips!

'gate' in Pd is replaced by 'spigot' (with the inlets turned around the more natural way).
