hi all
when using the '-path' flag on the commandline (NOT IN [declare]!!!), is it supposed to search standard directories as well?
actually, it does it only 'half', which is kind of an odd behaviour.
example:
testpatch.pd contains an object [netclient], which is part of maxlib no .pdrc or any other preferences file is used for these tests.
cd ~/ pd -path extra/maxlib ~/testpatch.pd
.......
[netclient] does instantiate. it seems, that when pd is started from users home, standard pathes are search as well by '-path'.
cd ~/pd/ pd -path extra/maxlib ~/testpatch.pd
....
[netclient] does NOT instantiate. it seems, that when pd is launched from a directory different from users home, standard pathes are NOT searched by '-path'.
should that behaviour be considered as a bug? millers documentation isn't of much help in this case, since it only says:
"-path <path> -- add to file search path"
