If you all can figure out how to package pd so PiDiP, PixelTango, PDP, and Gridflow can all install properly
I will buy you all a sandwich and a large beverage of your choice.

And Frank suggested we might want to go the Fink route for PD packages (for externals or all).
Not everybody uses Fink though - and to force people to use Fink as an "easy route" to install Pure Data isn't something I am comfortable with.
Offering PD via Fink however would be nice as an alternative, but I for one would definitely like to see .dmg or the like be the main method for OS X distribution.

...in case ya'll didn't know, pdp/pidip are "installed properly" in
the pd++.app releases, and I imagine PixelTango could be added no
problem...Gridflow has to wait until Matju and I figure out either to
make an embeddable ruby.framework, or a gridflow that doesn't need to
install things in the system ruby directories...
...oh, and look-y here: a new pd++.app! This one has latest CVS
stuff, and includes the portaudio memleak fix and weak-linking to
Jack, so if you have jack installed, you can use it...only thing I
think I forgot for the moment is that if you try to use pdp/pidip,
you need to have x11 installed (I need to switch it to weak-linking
like jack, too)...

Jamie got PDP working, I think PiDiP too that should be in the upcoming
builds that I'll be putting out. Ben Bogart and I have talked about
getting PixelTANGO included. And GridFlow, its up to Matju.
There are two parts to this:
themselves. I am working on this, and will be doing quite a bit of
work on this in the next weeks. As it is, its usable, but could be
better.
projects included. Thomas Grill did this, so now flext & co are
included.
