I bought one similar, it look like a proprietary plug dedicated to xbox, that can't be use with a hdmi cable. i'm looking for an other one, or a way to hack this to be pluged in a standard hdmi cable.
So much for 'standards' then! There are HDMI to VGA or Component video adapters that have RCA outputs. Those are more than the XBox ones - $30-40 USD:
