is there any contraindication to use separate instances of puredata: one for audio file playback and the other for control/communication ?
(the controling part would run as root - i could not get millers gpio object to work)
cheers!

on raspberry b+/stretch/pd-0.48 lately my patches open very slow.
i get the turning hour glass and sometimes the watchdog is already signalling pd….
can it take long to find librarys or a slow SD card or netsend related issues ?
or something completely different ?
did anyone have this issue?
Hi,
is there some easy way in vanilla pd to get a bang on each phasor~
wraparound which doesn't involve polling with snapshot~?
Something like samphold~, but outputting bangs instead of signals.

Dear List,
has anyone tried to control any RS232 able device? A simple switch on/off
would be enough for me.
Any hints would be appreciated.
Best,
Popesz
Hi,
I compiled latest pix_opencv from my github fork, but I have linking
problems.
I am on macos 10.14.2, mojave
Using `lipo -info`, all of pd, Gem.pd_darwin, pix_opencv.pd_darwin and
libopencv_*.dylib show as: "Non-fat file ... architecture: x86_64"
This is the error on the console:
GEM: Graphics Environment for Multimedia
GEM: ver: 0.94.git v0.94_pre1
...
error:
