Hi at all,
I would to have some additional infos about pix_share_write and
pix_share_read objects... i would to know what mean "shared memory
region", is this the video card frame buffer or the RAM?
and what mean the ID field (how many id can i use? how can i calculate
shared memory dimension and maximum ID?)
Thank you for the help and excuse for my bad english :-)

We have just released the first complete version of the SoundHack externals for PD & Max. These externals replicate most of the SoundHack plugins and are offered free of charge. Included in this collection are externals for amplitude shaping and distortion (+compand~, +chebyshev~ & +decimate~); single-head, multi-head, pitchshifting and granular delays (+delay~, +pitchdelay~, +bubbler~); and the spectral shapers, a set of spectral filters and dynamics processors (+binaural~, +morphfilter~, +spectralcompand~ & +spectralgate~).
This package is available (free) at http://www.soundhack.com/externs.php
As this is the first release, we expect bugs - don't hesitate to write us at support at soundhack.com.
These externals were programmed by William Brent, Tom Erbe, Daniel Arias, Bryan Oczkowski and Trevor LeVieux. Big thanks to the UC San Diego Department of Music and the Center for Research in Computing and the Arts for their support.
PS - Don't despair - Windows versions are coming...

Hello everybody , i was wondering if somebody have worked sonyfing
chaotic functions in pd. But not mapping the values from the functions
into sound parameters, but instead using the resulting values for
generating waveforms. Do anybody have tried something like this in
pd? Maybe theres some example patches i could begin studying?
thanks in advance
R.
[#see] doesn't work everytime when you put it in a subpatch with GOP
and, then, click on it. I expected the same behaviour when you put it in
a subpatch or in the main patch.

Can you send us the main patch too ?
Because it is not possible to detect the problem with the subpatch.

I'd like to take a patch from a pd window and mix it live with a Gem or pdp
window. pdp_capture would have been the ticket, but I can't get it to
compile and looking at the archives of this list, it doesn't seem like
others have had luck with it either. Any other ideas for me?

hi,
i was trying out my rather old osc client object for mxj with pd's pdj. which wasn't working, and hence led to a new polished version that works fine in pdj:
http://github.com/Sciss/PDOSCClient
there is a compiled binary also in the downloads section. please see the README.textile for installation infos.
why? in order to have bidirectional OSC communication from one object, that is sending and receiving is done from the same socket (port). this is required for instance to talk to SuperCollider as there is no way to receive client notifications with disparate [sendOSC] and [dumpOSC] objects.
have fun! best, -sciss-
Hi list,
Does anybody know of a Gem objets that let you change the gray or color value of a certain pixel in the Gem window? I mean, something like change de pixel x=310, y =200 to gray=0.5
thanks,
Diego.
Is there an object to get the pdversion? If so it would be nice to
replace the "Help->About Pd" textfile with a pd patch so the links could
be clickable. (Also, it would then be possible to do some rolling credits,
as often happens in an "About this Software" window.)
