hi all,
the cyclone's home, constantly queried about, is at
http://suita.chopin.edu.pl/~czaja/miXed/externs/cyclone.html
The source is at sourceforge too (pure-data/externals/miXed).
There are some new additions, not thoroughly tested yet. Among
these, there is a sample-accurate (not sub-sample accurate,
though...) EG -- multi-segment exponential curve~ with per-segment
controlled, parametrized curvature. There are four new filters
(more to come), pink~ noise generator, zerox~ counter/…
[View More]trigger,
and few others.
No idea, when this is going to be better tested, to have an osx
build, etc., unless someone gives me a hand.

Am I right that the documentation mentions that inlets/outlets are
ordered by their creation order? Am I also correct about that 0.37-test7
orders inlets/outlets by their left/right position on the screen?

Hi
I'm a bit confused about *exactly the diference is between throw/catch
and send/recieve. Also what is the meaning of the $0-something I se
somewhere in the examples (my guess is locally send/recieve, but nor
sure)?

hi gemer,
gemwin has no method "display" like pdp? is there a way to create the
window on the second head (0.1) in gem? nothing in the mailing-list
archive (gem + display)...
thanx!
patrick
Right now I've just started figuring out pd and writing a few patches
and abstractions. But I'm wondering if I waste a lot of time because I
can't see the bigger picture. I'm planning on connecting a few more (4-6
in all) keyboards via USB to my laptop running pd. So...
1) Would it be better to run multiple instances of pd or only one
instance? How is the midi input best handled from 6 keyboards? If they
all are connected via USB they will show up (I suppose) as different
input devices, but is …
[View More]that possible to redirect to different patches
running at the same time?
2) How does program change work in pd? Would it be neccesary to write a
specific input module to handle stuff like that?
3) Is it possible to load/unload patches dynamically from pd, for
instance using program change?

I'm quite confused about how hard it seems to be to do a polyphonic
patch in pd. What's the simplest way? And what's the most effecient,
cpu-wise?

Hi !
Is there some way to 'catch' error messages and evaluate and act acording
to them ?
For example how can I know 'in the patch' when msgfile cant find a file ?

Martin
Hi !
Is there any external that can search a directory and return all the
filenames in it ? I have been looking, but I can't find one. I'm on win
XP.
Thanks in advance /
Martin
