oops. up until several weeks ago, i have never had access to a mac;
(and an old se/30 is probably not really all too suitable for running
max), so i have to admit that i didn't know that max has an object
called 'forward' -- i was just looking for a short name that
accurately described my object's function... btw, what does
max 'forward' actually do?
that said, i'm perfectly willing to change the name of my external
in the interest of clarity -- how about the current alias 'fw',
or would that be too cryptic? suggestions, anyone?
of course, now i've already gone and imported it as 'forward'
into cvs, but the files can be removed, at least -- cvs
directories have a nasty habit of hanging about, though...
