Guenter
yes:
So the good news: pix_movie is ready. it is derived from your (Guenter's) 1sources (+ added MPEG2, either with libmpeg(1) or libmpeg3 (depending on what you want/have)). model is repaired and works both under linux/windows there is an untested version ov a ieee1394-object (live capture only) for linux only. some new objects in the pix_ section (but much more to come)
So the bad news: i have not yet managed to make a compiling ieee1394-port to win32 (MFC are really a pain!!) i have not yet managed to make a model-loader for models other than alias|wavefront's *.obj .i really would love to be able to impoirt some format that could be exported by a common modeller-programm (such as 3D-Max or Blender). i have not come across any (affordable) programm that can export *.obj-files.
So the stupid news: the long-awaited teapot is done...
the very bad news: documentation/homepage (sine nomine)
i was originally planning to release today (because of the very beautiful palindromic date (model citizen wedding day)) i obviously didn't managed to do so.
but then (on demand) i could do a "minor" release tomorrow or the day after....
