Ok, I stand by my earlier statement., The pd shader patch which leads
to the gemframebuffer is, as far as I can tell, non functional -
only if I disconnect it can I see any texture on the sphere at all. I
do get output however of the sphere, but the only fractal .
Interesting.,What does your output look like?
the fractal on the sphere is distorded with noise. in fact, this patch use 2 time the same shader.
- Its hard to know if its working, im
getting no errors in the PD console. Thanks again, this is exciting
stuff.
it look like not working. try marius patch... cyrille

Alas, - it works, but I misunderstood the patch. Im going to give a go at making some stream processing happen.
Thanks!

hello, In the recent discution on this list regarding gem an shader, i read that shader could not be used with framebuffer. i did not realize when i read this (and i can't find it anymore on the archieve). in fact it is not true. shader has to be loaded before the framebuffer objet but it work.
here is an exemple of how to use a shader and render on the framebuffer and then using the framebuffer as a texture send to an other shader.
hope that help
